Fortunately they’ve had a helping hand through agreements with specialist distributors that also supply competing products.
Distributors are keen to work with Vandgard because it's design is patented, unique, consisting of a series of curved vanes, each revolving freely around a central shaft to create an unstable barrier which moves if anyone attempts to climb over it.
Vandgard themselves still sell direct to established customers and, as with many other manufacturers; online internet sales have affected distribution channels to some extent. Nonetheless distributors are crucial to get the product to the end user and to help level out the peaks of supply and demand.
Vandgard’s distributors display and promote their products, receive and process orders, deliver on time, and add value by offering special services like bespoke fabrication or credit and account facilities.
