Individual shaft/spindle lengths are one of the building components for Vandgard Raptor Anti Climb Guard. Shafts are 2metres long. This product is robust Stainless steel Tube usually supplied as a replacement or to make up or infill small sections of Barrier.
Vandgard Raptor is ideal for protecting walls, gates, and all types of fence, rooftops, windows and alleyways. In fact all situations where serious vandalism or theft is likely . Examples include commercial and industrial sites, schools, vehicle parking areas, domestic, sports and leisure areas. This Anti climb guard will eliminate any stable platform or foothold that an opportunist might otherwise use to scale a wall.

Stainless Steel tube grade 304
plastic spikes are threaded onto the spindle which is crimped at the end with a hammer to secure the plastic spikes. Vandgard Raptor must be supported at 2 metre intervals. …
Rotaguard incorporates Geoquip's renowned Alpha Sensor GDALPHA detection system which alerts security personnel to any attempted intrusion and allows alarms to be verified by the unique 'listen-in' audio verification.
Latest generation precision sensor technology
Uses spirawire manufacturing techniques for EMI and RFI immunity
Incorporates lubritube technology for ultra sensitive detection
Suitable for external and internal applications
Superior audio clarity that cannot be matched
Weather resistant and robust construction
The Alpha Sensor is the next generation sensor designed solely for perimeter security. Its patented magnetic construction combined with the very latest techniques in sensor design have resulted in it being the benchmark for the industry. Resulting from many years of experience of sensor design, the Alpha Sensor exploits new manufacturing technology that enhances its performance. Spirawire is a process where the cable is twisted at exact intervals to provide a natural rejection capability against radio frequency and electromagnetic interference. Lubritube is a technique where specially lubricated tubes enable the precision sensor wires to move freely during an attack. High levels of detection are achieved from the improved frequency response that the sensor produces without the need to introduce complex electronic processing or increase the amplitude of the signal which is the main causes of false alarms with old generation sensors. Detection is linear along the entire length resulting in no blind spots, providing a detection range of approximately 1.5m either side of the sensor.
The GD5000 analyser, combined with Alpha Sensor, is a stand alone perimeter intruder detection device. It exploits the precision Alpha Sensor technology by processing the analogue signal generated by an intrusion attempt on the perimeter fence For use with the Defensor system, it is designed to pick up vibrations as soon as any contact is made with the fence. A security system which incorporates Defensor will alarm as soon as an attack starts. During the time taken to breach the fence, the area of attack can be located, security staff mobilised and CCTV, lights and sirens activated. This means that the control of the situation stays with the security service and the attack can often be prevented.…

GQCOMBO ACCESSORY BOX 5 Figure 4 Terminate the ends of a suitable length of sensor as described in Section 2. 1. Replace the blanking plug with the appropriate plastic PG9 gland which comes with the GQCOMBO. Remove all the links fitted to the PCB. 2. Loosen the glands on the junction boxes and pass the terminated end into the box so sufficient length is available on the tails to be wired into the terminal blocks. Ensure that the sensor is passed through the correct gland to correspond to the position of the terminal block, i.e. through the left gland to connect to the left terminal block at the right hand end of the cable and vice versa at the left end. Tighten the glands by hand so that the rubber sealing ring grips the sensor jacket and not the HDPE tubes. 3. Connect the sensor tails to the terminal blocks on the PCB. Figure 4 shows sensor wired to the left hand terminal block of the GQCOMBO box. 4. Cut off the damaged section of sensor from the fence and terminate the ends of the remaining sensor in the same manner as above. To ensure that no moisture enters the open ends, this step should only be carried out immediately prior to fixing the new section. 5. Position the boxes just above the line of the sensor to allow rain water to run away from the glands and fix to the protected surface using the mounting kit provided. The mounting bar is located across the diagonals of the box and is fixed in place by dropping the screws provided into the large holes at the corner of the box and screwing these into the mounting bar placed on the other side of the fence. If fixing the box to a wall or other solid surface the mounting bar can be dispensed with and the box fitted directly to the surface with appropriate fixings. Ensure that the new section of sensor is at the same height and tension the original. GQCOMBO ACCESSORY BOX 6 6. Connect the tails of the existing sensor to the junction box terminal blocks on the PCB. 7. Replace the box lids, taking care not to over tighten the lid screws and verify that the tamper switch in each box operates by listening for the click of the switch action as the lid is screwed down. In order to attain a weatherproof seal the lid must be replaced with the correct orientation. 8. Retest the entire zone to ensure that the sensor detects simulated impact and sustained attacks. …
Junction Box GDELT-1• End of zone termination
• Weatherproof box sealed to IP66
• Easy termination
• Integral tamper switch
The GDELT provides a quick and easy method of terminating each zone of
sensor and provides access for service and ongoing maintenance of the
Sensor connections are made via terminal blocks mounted on a PCB contained
within the box which permits easy access for disconnection, testing and fault
finding if necessary. The box is sealed to IP66 rating and includes an integral
tamper switch operating in conjunction with the sensor monitoring circuitry,
therefore no additional tamper loop needs to be provided.
The kit contains all components necessary to enable the installation engineer to
install the unit on a fence or wall.…
